Charged only on success
A full-resolution result costs 1 credit, deducted after the image is returned. Failed or timed-out jobs cost nothing, and any post-charge failure is refunded automatically.
Credits never expire
No subscription, no monthly minimum, no “use it or lose it”. Buy a pack, use it over a week or a year.

Questions
Do I need an account first?
No. Pay with your email at checkout — we create your bgclear account from that email, add the credits, and log you in on the next page, where you can set a password. Already have an account? Log in first and the credits land on it.
Which payment methods work?
Checkout is handled by Stripe: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and local methods where available. You get a Stripe receipt by email.
Is there volume pricing?
The Scale pack is the best per-image rate on the page. For more than ~10,000 images a month, message us via the feedback form in the footer and we’ll sort out a custom rate.
Can I get a refund?
Failed jobs never charge you. For anything else, write to us through the feedback form with your account email and we’ll make it right.
How is this different from the free website?
The website stays free and unlimited for people. The API is for software — it’s metered per image so we can guarantee capacity for your integration.
