Terms of Service — BG Clear AI Background Remover

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using bgclear.ai ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

bgclear.ai provides AI-powered background removal, browser-based GIF tools, and a developer API. You must have the rights needed to process the files you submit. Review the output before publishing; editing a passport photo does not certify that it meets an issuing authority’s requirements. The service is provided "as is" and we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use our service to upload, process, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

6. Payment Terms

The web background remover and GIF tools are free. Developer API credits are purchased in prepaid packs, not a recurring subscription. Current prices and usage rules are listed on our API pricing page. Failed API jobs are not charged. For billing errors or refund requests, contact support with your account email. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall bgclear.ai, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
